Lazy Holiday Wishes!
Lazies, I hope you’ll join me in raising a cuppa cuppa as I wish you all a happy, safe, tasty, and joyful holiday season! Embrace this special time of year and take care of yourselves and each other. Eat well, but have a treat, too. Relax, travel safe, have fun, enjoy yourselves, enjoy the moment and love each other.
Happy Holidays!
Joan, Michael and our little dog Honey
PS: Blog Schedule – I’ll be on a blog break for a few weeks as I tidy-up year-end stuff and wrap my mind around 2010. I’ll be back in mid January.
Dear Joan, Michael and Honey! Have the best holiday ever. Here’s to 2010 and many more years of creative fun to come.

Hi Joan,
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas time!
Enjoy your time off, and in the meantime, hope you have visions of garlands made of Maggies dancing in your head! (Good thing they’re not as fattening as sugarplums!)
I’m looking forward to some uninterrupted sewing time – there are a few Lazy projects waiting for my attention….

Merry Christmas and much Happiness in 2010!
Thank you for another year of wonderful patterns, inspiration and tutorials.
I can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve for next year!
Joan, I wonder if you can think of what I may be doing wrong.
I made 3 large Maggies today and when I turn them inside out for the last time, I find that the material that is in the top 3″ tends to bunch or not lay exactly flat. What am I doing? Jean
Hi Jean, Merry Christmas! It may be the batting you chose. Thin is better. But even with thin batting, I get some bunching at the 3″ fold on the lining fabric. I use fusible batting, so I might not be seeing the bunching you are if you are not using a fusible batting. If that is the case, here are a couple of things to consider trying. Naturally, quilting, even a little bit, will hold the layers together better. Next, trim the batting from the seam allowance if possible to reduce the bulk at the seams which may be pushing back on things after being turned. I hope this helps. My best, Joan
Merry Christmas, Joan and family!
