I fussy cut the feature fabric for perfect placement of those oh-so-cute black and white fans. Consider getting a little more yardage, perhaps 1/2 yard instead of 1/3 yard, so you have some flexibility if you plan to fussy cut, too.
Supplies
Below is the back of the pattern, listing yardage and other supplies.

Joan,
I LOVE the new “geared down” size of Miranda. I am so hooked on your patterns. As a “not too skilled” sewer, I find your patterns with the pictures are easy to follow — even for me. Thanks a bunch.
Hi Joan, Of course the Miranda mini is delightful and I will own one, but the site for the fabric is a fun trip as well. thanks for providing such fabulous information for us. The best part is I found where to buy the fabric here in Bozeman by going to the web site and the store locater function. thanks again and have a great week. Willa
I make bags, bags, bags, and Miranda is my personal all time favorite to both make and use. So, you can imagine I am REALLY excited about the new pattern. I called my local quilt shop and as we spoke she was sending in an order but didn’t know about Minnie Miranda. She added it to the order as it was in stock and I should have my pattern this week and my first Minnie (can’t help it, Minnie was my adored aunt) by next week. Now .. should I do Tropicals to brighten the winter days or something to go w/my winter clothes … or both???
The minis are excellent, the fabric is looking great ! I especially like the look of the black and whte tartan fabric that would work a treat for the winter season. I can see my mini purse now and its looking great in tartan 🙂 -Well I guess I have to get around to making it first !
I just found your site — I have been making your bags for as long as I can remember. Really happy when I purchased the Lg. Miranda Bag and it was in color!! Imagine my surprise and pleasure. Keep up the good work. Just bought two more of your wonderful patterns.
I just finished my first Mini Miranda handbag, and I love it! I’ll be making many more, in lots of colors and fabrics. I’ve made several other handbags, but found your directions and illustrations very easy to follow. Thanks for a wonderful pattern.
I LOVE the Miranda Day bag so I’m really looking forward to doing this mini version. Like the fabrics on the sample – I’ll check out the links. Thanks for another great pattern.
Having a devil of a time finding the exact materials on the front of Mini Miranda Bag. Have checked the sites you included, Hoodie, no go, and Blank Quilting said page not found. You listed these as Medetai #547, 5466, 54465, 5429. Can you please help? Looking forward to making the bag! Got the patttern today!
Thanks for your efforts!!
