Kanzashi Flower Makers, Add a Flower to Your Purse
Lazies, Look at this gorgeous flower I made! I finally got a chance to play with the new Kanzashi Flower Makers from Clover Needlecraft. Here’s my first flower! It was easy and fun to make. Clover has done for flowers what they did for Yo-Yo’s a few years ago – made them easy and successful. Read on, then enter below to win a set of all six Kanzashi Flower Makers from Clover Needlecraft.
Here’s the flower in place on my Margo Handbag. I used the ‘Habitat’ line from Benartex in the aqua colorway. The black/tan colorway is fantastic, too.
Margo Handbag LGD127, shown in Habitat fabric from Benartex.
Clover offers three petal shapes in two sizes each for six total products. I used the large square purple one. You can make a flower from one Maker or mix and match using different petals on the same flower. Check out all six of the Kanzashi Flower Makers at Clover’s website.
What I Like
I love that the Kanzashi Flower Maker will make each petal the same size – ah, perfection! The Maker is a template, too. Fold the fabric and insert, then trim anything that sticks out around the sides.
They are easy to make
Really, really easy. Fold the fabric and place it in the Maker. Fold the Maker and snap closed. Trim excess fabric. Stitch in/out. Open the Maker and pull the thread. Done!
It’s a portable project
I can pack supplies and take them with me. I love that!
I can make as many petals as I want/need
There are no rules here. I used a plaid fabric fabric and really had no idea what it would look like when in petal form. With the first petal, I knew I liked where it was going. The next question was whether to make a lot of petals or a few, for a tight busy flower, or a softer looking flower. I simply stopped here and there and judged as I went.
Make one petal at a time and slide it down the thread with the others.
Taking shape! This is actually the back side of the petal shown above.
Here’s the front side of this petal style shown above. Nice to look good coming or going.
All the pretty petals in their place.
Finishing the flower
Add a decorative accent to finish the center. I poked a scrap of fabric through the center hole from the back side, then secured and tufted it with a few stitches. Use a button or yo-yo if you like. Add a pin clasp to the back and you’re ready to go. This flower finishes at 3″ across. Each package shows the full size flower that can be made from that Maker.

This is so cool! What a neat way to spice up my sewing and scrapbook projects! I own lots of Clover products, and they always seem to come up with innovative tools for my sewing and crafting. Can’t lose with anything from Clover!!
Love the clover makers. I have been looking for the flower ones Have not found them yet.
I will by them as soon as I see them. Joan Love your flower. Gives me a lot of ides as how to use them.
These are really neat and the flower looks great on the bag! I love the way Clover makes everything it ‘touches’ so much easier, from tambour beading to yoyos, and now these!
What a fun project! Bloom where the Clover grows!
Would love to try these new flower templates. Clover is the BEST!
Purchased one of the flower makers a while back. Now seeing this makes me want to make some:)!
These were showcased at a Notion Commotion done at my LQS. following Quilt Market.
They turned out amazing . They seemed to be so easy to make and added just the right touch to whatever they were added to.
I saw a demo of these on line, they look like sooo much fun!
Clover knitting needles are all I am using in the last…..can’t think that far back. The knitting needles that are “softer” and quiet. There is no finish to wear off like some of the cheapo metal needles. Plus….the cats loved them. It wouldn’t make me too happy since the cats would just chew them up. Good thing the double pointed ones had five in a set or…..I woud have …..never mind. Four needles was enough and I calmed down.
There is the needle threader thing I had somewhere and like to use a lot when I was doing hand quilting. (Where did that thing go? It’s so tiny.)
Bottom line? When I need “stuff” the first brand that gets my attention is Clover. Now the flower making things are a new toy…er….business tool?….I “need”.
Clover is awesome. I bought the yo yo maker last year and my daughter used it to make hanging yo yos for her room. I can only imagine what she would do with this.
What a clever accessory tool. This would look good on jackets, purses, totes, and even gym shoes or flip flops with the proper backing. Flower ideas would be endless. A great new product, again, from Clover.
I love fabric flowers and add them to my purses and dolls! These look spectacular. I have many of the Clover sewing aids including the yoyo makers, the flower frill and the needle felting items, but have been lusting after these – they are not in any shops near me yet!
I love my Clover ‘tools’, especially the Yoyo makers. All their products are easy to learn to use and always give consistent results.
Wow, these are really neat! I just finished working on my 2nd purse and it would be so much fun to add a flower to it. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love anything with the Clover name, from the quilting needles, to the bias makers, to my favorite seam ripper(one in every area I work) and the most useful awl/stilletto. They are make to fit your hand with such comfort and made to last forever. I always look what Clover has to offer before buying my tools and notions. Keep up the good work, you make many Ladies happy.
I love flowers and would love to have the option of making different sizes and styles. These clover forms are the perfect way to do it.
I bought four of Clover’s yo-yo making devices and have had a blast. Now, the Flower Makers are a must-have for my tool chest. Both of these devices offer artists an myriad of creative opportunities. Great new tools.
I love to make flowers for name tags, this is someting I want to try.
WOW Joan! When I saw the flower that you made for your purse, I knew I had to try to find the flower makers and try them myself! We don’t have many places in our small town to buy them, so will hav e to wait until I go to the mall and try there. LOVED the flower though. CLOVER makes the best items!! Would be GREAT to win all 6 of the flowers! Love the MARGO BAG!!!
Hugz,
Sandy
I have all the Clover Yo-Yo makers and have used them often. Local TV anchors have been wearing flowers on their outfits… and I have been thinking my granddaughters would like a flower on their outfits or in their hair….. but I hadn’t figured out how to make the flowers So now I know…. can’t wait to get some… if I don’t win I will be ordering….
Where have all the clovers gone? They’ve ran to Lazy Girl to help with the new Kanzashi Flower Makers giveaway. As always, Lazy Girl has the best things for those of us who are in need. Adding these to my sewing accessories would be a treat. Go Clover and Lazy Girl.
I love, love Clover notions. After many years of sewing I have many Clover products, they last a lifetime. Now this flower maker has to be about the most clever idea yet, who would think something like this would make this beautiful fower. I need to go find this and make up some flowers for the purses I make. Keep on coming up with the great notions, I will keep buying.
I have lots of Clover products and love them all, especially the yo-yo makers. Would really love to add these flower makers to my Clover collection.
Another great use for scrap fabrics!
What can I say? Clover is the best! I like to have a yoyo maker with me for an easy hand project to do while waiting……
I love Clover tools, I have all the yoyo makers… Even the butterfly! I taught a class on making these flowers the cut and fold way, but this is SO much better! Thanks to you and Clover for the chance!
Lovely flowers to bring joy whereever they bloom….Clove…the only way to go:)!!
Love it, love it, love it. I have been trying to make flowers for years and it was always putsy and they came out crooked. This will make it a breeze!
Flower making is so much fun. I’d love to have these Clover flower makers to add flowers to all my Lazy Girl purses. ~Margaret
This would be perfect for the Margo Handbag that I am just about finished making. It needs something to jazz it up…the Kanzashi Flower Maker would be perfect and I have a button that would look great in the center of the flower. Win it or not (hope I do) I will be getting one of these.
I would love to try out this new tool. It makes a cute flower to use on lots of things.
good morning! My favorite bag–the Margo–along with a beautiful flower! It just doesn’t get any better! I love both Clover products and Lazy Girl, so this combo is just perfect for me! MN has a statewide shop hop coming up soon; I’ve added this product to my shopping list! Thanks for showing how easy it is to do this! BTW, do you have directions on how to do the one fabric Margo? I LOVE that look! Thanks, and hoping I win!
I love the Clover tools! have all of the Yo Yo tools and would love to win this!
Clover makes the best tools and they have been around so long!! They just keep coming up with better and better stuff! These flowers are soooo sweet! I want them all:) Thanks for offering this giveaway!
I really could really use some flowers that don’t need watering, fertilizing, and weeding in the heat this summer!! I use and love Clovers yo-yo makers and look forward to trying their flower makers.
I own lots of Clover products, their seam ripper is one of the best, and I use the tape makers all the time. I haven’t bought the yo-yo maker, and this is the first I have seen of the flower makers. Would love to win them.
Erica
Wow – As a new quilter, there are so many things I want to try – and now this! WOW, I can think of a million ways to use these. I’ll have flowers all over my house when I buy these. Thanks for a chance to win!
I have been eyeing these flower makers but haven’t purchased one yet. After seeing this post I will be purchasing one today! And…just as a side note, over the weekend I was cleaning out some sewing supplies left to me by my precious Grama who taught me how to sew at age 9. Guess what? Her sewing basket was filled with Clover products – just goes to show you, you can’t improve on something that is already great!
I love clover products because it has made it easier for me to teach my daughters to do things, my youngest daughter decided that she wanted to do some thing and loved the yo yo so much she dove into my scraps and played till she used up alot of them making yoyo’s
Now she can take her yoyos and decorate her around town bag and if we get the flower makers she will have even more fun doing things for her bags or for her hair.
Love the flowers and want to make me some! Thanks Clover for akk you do to make our fun fast, easy, and beautiful! Love the yo-yo maker, it works so well.
What a great new flower! I’ve just started working on a Lazy Girl purse that I’ve wanted to make forever and have started by choosing my fabrics and tools. Since I knew I want flowers, I already have my Clover bias tape maker and my Clover yo-yo makers out. But this new Clover flower would really finish off my purse with the look I want! Even if I don’t win I plan on purchasing three sets – one for me and two for two of my sewing buddies!!!
These sound like lots of fun!
I have several Clover products and love them all. It would be hard to pick a favorite. I’d love to have the flower makers to make flowers for purses, grand-daughter’s clothes, and hair clips. It looks like they have really made flower making SO easy!
I have used Clover Yo Yo makers, and they are great! I can only imagine how wonderful these flower makers are. I know Clover does a great job with their little gadgets!
Everything I have gotten from Clover from knitting needles to their leather thimble have been made with quality and with the artisan in mind. I think they rock.
Clover makes it so easy to accessorize! Great idea as I have the pattern and fabric to make the Margo purse!
What a neat way to add a pretty flower to a purse or jacket. I have the Clover Yo Yo maker & it is very easy to use. Their tools are great.
I have 3 of the yo-yo makers from Clover and just LOVE them. I always thought a yo-yo was kind of neat but there was no way I knew I would be able to make them (walking and chewing gum at the same time syndrome) but their yo-yo makers make it almost addicting. And they are not just for making yo-yos. I have found many other uses for them. Can’t wait to start working on the flowers. Such a smart company and whomever who came up with these ideas. Thanks for the giveaway.
This would be a great way to add some embellishment to a challenge quilt I am working on.
I love Clover products! They last forever. Each tool comes with complete instructions and always does what it says it will. I could go crazy making flowers (for purses, totes, pillows, coverlets, picture frame accents) with these gadgets. Happy crafting!
I love the Clover products- in fact, I went to a graduation party on Saturday and sat in the shade and made yo-yo’s. You’d be surprised to know how many people want to know what i am doing and how it works! I’d love to try the flower makers!
WOW! Those flowers look great. I love all my Clover Makers and will be on the lookout for this one in the stores. Thanks for the demo.
I love clover…I have many of their yo-yo templates which i love to embellish on my lazy girl bags and like many of their other notions!
I love this product Thanks for introducing us to this inovative idea in enhancing all of our “Lazziness”!
would love to learn how to do this…I love flowers and wouldn’t have to dig in the dirt to see them bloom! Here’s hoping!
These are sooo cool! I have been loving all my yo-yo makers .. think them aside & try out the Kanzashi flowers 🙂 thanks for the chance.
I have all the Clover Yo Yo makers. My young granddaughter was watching me make yo yos one day and was beside herself wanting to use them. Her first yo yo was perfect (thank you Clover!) and she was off and running. She was so proud she did it herself. The big yo yo maker went right in her school bag so she could show her teacher and all her friends the magic yo yos. We spent priceless time together, her choosing the fabrics for her yo yos and me cutting. She’s older now and I know the flower makers will bring back the wide eyed wow look from her that I love so much! I know she’ll be choosing and I’ll be cutting again! Thanks for the opportunity to win these. Cindy B
I LOVE the large pointed flower. I JUST saw these made out of silky-feeling Batiks at a street fair on Saturday, and wondered “How am *I* going to make THOSE :)” To win the whole set would be extra, extra special!
I have many of the clover tools. These look like they would be fun to make and to use.
Another great idea from Clover. Not only are they great ideas, but very affordable also. Thanks for the chance to have another great tool..
Really cool! Nothing better than something that is beautiful as well as pretty!
I have the other Clover “makers” – the yo-yos and the flowers and I’ve used them a lot! I’ve not seen or heard of these makers before – they look amazing!! More flowers for my daughter’s dresses! And matching headbands. And our purses. Wow, I can just think of so many uses!!
These look like fun. Would love to try one out.
I do love the Clover flowers and would love to make some.
I saw these mentioned somewhere a few weeks ago. (I thought it was here on your blog, but now I am wondering where I saw it, since I see this post) Well, I immediately did a google search for them and found the video demos to watch (gotta love the internet for learning about new things—especially when one lives overseas) Anyway, after watching the demo, I decided I had to have them. I have not yet ordered them, as I am hoping to come to the states on a visit in the next few months, and hope to get them while there. But now I just don’t know if I can wait that long though, as this renewed my desire to have them now rather than later. I have the yo-yo makers and love how they work, so I look forward to comparing the Kanzashi flower makers. I love to use things like this to make cute little things for my granddaughter–and of course, friends, too. 🙂
I love clover prouducts. clover is always on the leading edge of innovation. Their products have such well written directions that even the timid can be successful in using the product. I love the flowers. I can see them on my quilt.
Clover?! Why did I not know about this before?? I’m ready to jump in my both hands after seeing your brief tutorial. Bring on the Clover gear!!
I have all the sizes of the Clover Yo Yo maker and love them! I used to make them by hand, never for long! Now I take them along with me and make a couple here and there. I have almost enough for a bed spread! Sooo pretty!
I would love to have these flower makers, I can think of so many things to use these with.
Yeah another fun tool for the sewing room, also a good scrap user upper !
What a great embellishment set!!!! I love adding those kinds of details to my projects. This kind of embellishment takes an ordinary finished item and sets it apart and gives a high end boutique look. Good job Clover!!!
I use Clover notions for all my crafting: sewing, knitting, crochet. They make the BEST crochet hooks! And since I am always trying to think of new places to add yo-yo’s (have almost all the makers) this would add so much. I wonder what a crocheted strip of fabric would look like using this?
I love these flowers. Looks like lots of fun. Clover has done it again. They look great on your handbags. Can’t wait to make some myself.
Wow! I may become a flower follower with this new toy. Cute.
I haven’t used Clover yo- yo tools yet, but looks like I would love the flower tools.
I love the Clover line so much, I dream about it!
I love Clover! I actually have one of these but I want them all! Have you checked out their nice bag handles, zippers, markers, etc.?
I love clover products. They are so practical and easy to use. The yo-yo’s are great fun and these flowers look like they’ll be fun to make. i could add some cute flowers to just about everthing I make.
From…flower fill templates, sewing and quilting, yo-yo makers to the fantastic

I <3 Clover! I've been using their bias tape makers for years, and they never disappoint! I've tried making kanzashi by hand and failed miserably, I would give it another go with these Clover tools!

This is so cute. Can’t wait to make some!
These are gorgeous!
I’d love to try making some flowers!
Are they as much fun as the other Clover products??
I have been making my flowers one petal at a time. Folded flowers often take more fingers than the good Lord has provided me! SEW many flowers SEW many ideas!!!!
I have the print you made the Margo in and now i think i need to make another Margo using that. The flowers would really be nice add on. Maybe as a key chain with the smaller flower, or zipper pull for the bag, or for a jacket….:)
I love the new Clover Kanzashi Makers they make it so easy! Clover really knows how to make great tools!
Flowers are always a welcome addition to any craft I make. These look very simple to make and I would llike to share with friends and family. Way to go Clover and thanks Lazy Girl for the great give away.

I’ve been looking for these since I read about them! Love all the designs.
Clove always makes reliable products. I use a lot of tools from Clover, and the needle threader is very helpful.
When I was knitting I loved their needles now I’m discovering how many other wonderful
Tools and aids they have. I have been interested in trying kanzashi for a while now but a bit intimidated by the process. These would make it a lot easier.
I grow white clover in my garden, as it is a wonderful aid to keeping nitrogen in the soil and repels bug. Many American Indian tribes used it as a medicine, some for the common cold.
Yesterday we went to a nice little cafe called Clover which serves yummy vegan fare and on top of that, *all* of their trash (including cups, utensils) is compostable! I will definitely be returning to them!
For me, clover means good things. Is there anything clover can’t do?! =)
I love anyone who makes my life easier, and more beautiful. Anyone can have my kingdom – including the stove, frig, and anything else that needs cleaned.
I’ll be with my stash, making something easy and beautiful and won’t even notice!
The clover flowers are perfect for purses and totes, a vase of flowers on a wall hanging, a ‘corsage’, and maybe a garland just for fun!
Thanks for introducing me to this new product. Clover is clever!
I love Clover’s water soluable marking pencils and I would love to win to use to decorate my Margo bags. Thanks!

Making flowers using clover products is so easy and flowers are such a great accent to the handbags!!
I <3 Clover. I always look for their products both locally and at quilt shows and buy whatever they male that I don't have because I know their products work and last. There aren't a lot of companies that are as reliable as Clover. They always make me feel like a Lucky Girl when at heart I'm a Lazy Girl.

Wow! Are these ever cute. Clover really makes the best stuff. I’d be lost without their perfect stitch ripper. I’ve never tried their templates – but now I’m really tempted! Looks like the perfect fiddle free way to major cuteness!
This is another great portable project from Clover. The possibilities are endless.
It looks like fun to make those flowers. Clover makes great products thank you for doing this giveaway. Since I can’t find the makers here in the stores yet!

I have the yo yo makers and would love to learn how to make flowers to add to my creations.
OMG these are gorgeous, I love the Clover flower products and have been playing with them and this one would be a nice addition to my collection. I saw the flower on your blog the other day and tried to find this at my local craft store – but they didn’t have it. 🙁 Sad face.
I can so see this on the latest Maggie I just made as a gift. Loving that pattern too.
Hope to Win but Good Luck to everyone.
WOW! Clover does it again! My first project for these flower makers would be a lovely hair band (or 2 or…) for my 6 year old niece. I see small flowers scross the top with a large flower on one side. She would absolutely love them. Of course she would have to have a tie belt for her dresses with flowers down the front of the tie. Hair pins and barretts, lapel pins and stick pins, fancy or homey flowers for purses, small flowers around the neckline of a blouse, of course wonderful flowers, big and small, on my quilts. Whew, the things I could do with these seem to be endless. I can even make them in the car on the way to her house.
I love the yoyo makers and am sure if I had these flower makers, I would love them as well.
I haven’t seen these in the Clover section at the store either! What a great idea! I love to wear flowers in my hair – I could make a bunch with bobby pins on the back instead of a pin clasp… or matching pin/hairclip ones! 🙂
I always loved yo-yos, these look wonderful and easy, can’t wait to try them out.
can’t wait to try it !!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness, this is an awesome idea! I love Clover’s yo-yo maker and I’m completely addicted to making yo-yos. I can’t wait to try these out!

I love it! It looks like fun and easy. It will add a super cute embellishments to bags and purses and make kids’ close even cuter. It’s a must have!
I love the Clover website! I heard about the new Kanzashi Flower Makers from a friend of mine and immediately had to check out the website. They carry top of the line products like the Takumi Bamboo Knitting Needles which are the only knitting needles I will use. And ladies, if you are in to beaded embroidery, you have got to try the Kantan Couture Bead Embroidery Tool. I got it as a gift and love, love, love it!
Clover there always coming up with the most interesting gadgets to work with.
I am looking for new ways to make flowers for quilting etc.
Love this new flower maker.
Pauline

I have used Clover quilting and sewing products for years and always enjoy hearing about new products. I have several of the YoYo makers and other helpful tools. Flowers made using these Kanzashi Flower Makers would be creative embellishments to add texture and accent colors to quilted purses and other accessories. Clover is the best at alot of things. Thanks for making this template for flowers. I will fear no more!
I love Clover. I always visited their booth when they came to AQS Nashville. Have been disappointed that they no longer attend the AQS Show since the move to Knoxville. Hopefully, they will be at the Grand Rapids Show next year. Always the place to go to see whats new in notions.
I love Clover notions and this is just another great one. What a great way to make anything more special, not only a Lazy Girl.
The flowers look fantastic. They will be the perfect compliment to so many things that we make with love for our family and friends. Now the flower adornment can be made with love too.

Oh those Clover people, they are at it again! I can always count on them to be total enablers of my disease. I see that I’ll need to double up on my meetings at SGA (Sewing Gadgets Anonymous). But maybe just one more…….
LOVE Clover!! I put these flowers on everything from bags to flip-flops to headbands/hairclips!!! We discovered Clover when my 9 year old daughter wanted an easy to sew project and found Clover’s yo-yo dog!!! We wroked on it together, and now have mede them as gifts for EVERYONE!!!
I’ve been a Clover fan for many, many years–pins, rulers, yo-yo makers–you name it, I’ve got it! Would love to add the Kanzashi flower templates to my crafty bag of tricks.
Pick me!
Those clever Clover folks. From their innovative bias strip maker (I cannot live without), Yo-yo makers, mini iron, rings, swivels, and hooks for pocketbooks, Clover has done it again with the Kanzashi flower maker. Gotta have one…or two.
I absolutely love Clover products. I know it will sound crazy, but my two favorite tools are the seam ripper and the stiletto. I want things to be perfect and these two tools help in their own way to help me accomplish the perfection that I desire.
Love Clover and their products! I have all the yo-yo makers and recently purchased the Flower Frill templates….this would be great to add to my collection! Thanks!

Thanks for all your innovative purse designs and easy to follow directions!!!

I love Clover products. I love my bias tape maker. I can make bias tape to match the fabric for my daughter dresses. I would love the kanzashi flower makers!! It would make it so much easier to make flowers to use on the dresses and on the matching hairbows!
Clover has the most fantastic flower makers. They are the best and easiest way to do flowers anywhere. Lazy Girl is the number 1 purse patterns anywhere. Thank you for the chance to win.
I love clover so much that I have every single yo you maker they make.
I love clover. I have each and every seam binding tape maker they have. I can’t tell you how much I save with these little gadgets. And to be able to say I made the binding all by myself. I am positive I will be saying the same thing with the flower makers. Just love these. I have a 3 year old grand daughter I do a LOT of sewing for. I can just see these flowers on a dress or top/short set. How darling that will be.
Love the yo yo makers by Clover, looks like they’ve come up with another winner! Can’t wait to try them.
Thanks for sharing.
I Love Clover Products! Not only the sewing products (can’t wait to try the flowers!) but also their line on needlework products. I think my all time favorite is the tatting shuttle… its the only brand I will use to tat with. I love the feel of it in my hands and it hold just the right amount of thread, so that I don’t have to re-load the shuttle frequently. I love the town purse, and think it would be beautiful with a ‘clover’ flower and some of my tatted lace – hmmm. giess I should get started on the lace for my next Lazy Purse!
I had not seen these, but after watching the video I will be looking for them! This could be the start of an “Addictive Flower Maker”. July 20th is my 73rd Birthday. These would be a great gift!!!
Have not seen these at JoAnn Fabric Stores, yet! If I don’t get picked to win them, I hope JoAnn gets them in because they would be a great item to buy with a coupon. I will have to check out Michael’s and ACMoore. You’ve got to love coupons and when they are 50% off coupons it is even sweeter! No matter how I come by them, they will be an asset to my “tools”!
I saw these in my email today and went wow! Clover has come up with more products to make flowers. I LOVE these and really love how the flower perks up the Margo purse. Clover products are some of my favorite products and I reach for them every day I’m sewing, quilting or crafting.
I would enjoy being LAZY and making perfect flowers to wow everyone! Thanks for the giveaway chance. 🙂
Wow! How my granddaughters would love these flowers–on their hair, on their bags, on their clothing. My various types of pins by Clover are the best. I also use their yo-yo makers and bias tape makers.
I want to win! Making one petal at a time is getting hard on these old hands. Thank goodness for my yo yo maker. At least the centers are easy.
I love all the Clover products. I have all the yo yo makes. I’ve made quilts, purses, and totebags. They add a lovely touch to everything I make. Thank you for all of the great products!
These are too cute – I want to make these too!
I would love to have the set of these Clover tools. I can imagine all the wonderful uses for these flowers; jewelery, embellishment for not only purses, but also clothing, and especially quilts- 3D quilts.
I have a number of Clover tools in my sewing and felting tool box. They’re really handy and economical too!
Thank you Clover for yet another way to save my sanity !
This set of Clover flower tools is great! I want a set to use in my FCS Clothing Construction classes. The students will LOVE making their own flowers.
Another gadget I want/need/MUST HAVE!
These would be great to add pizazz to my granddaughter’s clothes or handbags. 13 and she took her birthday money to buy a sewing machine!!!!
You know, the thing about Clover is that you buy a random thing because it looks cool, but you have no idea how much you’re going to love it until later. Then you’re a complete goner. I love everything I’ve ever bought from them.
CLOVER always comes up with the greatest products to tempt us. These flower makers bring back memories of my high school and college days and making rickrack flowers for earrings in many colors to match various outfits I stitched. Thank you for the trip back in time. Of course I would be delighted to win a set.
A flower for you and a flower for me. A flower for all my friends that I see!
I love Clover items for their ease and versatility! I would love to win a full set so I can make floral gifts for everyone!!!
How cool is that!! I have other Clover flower makers. I can’t wait to get these!
I love the Clover seam ripper! Can’t wait to make these flowers. I can think of so many ways to use them. How fun!
I love Clover so much that a quick peek in my sewing room revealed:
yo-yo makers (5 sizes of round, 2 sizes of hearts, and 2 sizes of flowers)
Asian knot makers in 4 styles
bias tape makers in 3 sizes
bow makers in 2 sizes
3 rolls of quick bias
3 magnet tote bag closures
3 types of needle threaders (desk top, regular stick type, and the little heart)
2 types of thread cutters (a ring and a pendant style)
3 coin thimbles
2 new boxes of glass head pins–different typles
1 package of flower head pins
1 needle sharpener
2 sizes of rotary cutters
and my favorite notion–a finger presser!
That’s just what I noticed in a quick look around. My little seam ripper is missing right now, but I know it is in my friend’s sewing box, and will come home to me soon.
I love Clover so much that I just have to have every new tool and toy that they make!
Now, don’t you think that all those flower makers need to come live here? Please 🙂
Love, love, love the Clovers. They are so much fun!!
That flower is a wonderful way to finish off the bag; nice of the great people at Clover to think of flowers JUST when you needed it! Clover has the most innovative products available…..

Wow …great tool for the flower making… so lovely…
I would love to have a chance to win all those….
I REALLY love Clover. love it x 1000 times…
I love Clover products! I did get a chance to play with one of these at my local quilt shop. It makes really nice flowers.
Waiting for my clover bias tape makers to arrive. . . can’t wait to try them out & make my own bias tape to match all of my bags even more personalized. .. so the flower makers would just be the ultimate to add to my collection! 🙂 Thanks Lazy Girl for the information!
I’ve tried making these flowers without the tools and with the tools is going to be WAY easier.
I would love to own all of the Clover products with the bag clipssdnuf won’,t allow at this time. Thanks to Lazy girls for such wonderful bags.Easy as pie!!!!!!!!!
Whow what lovely Flowers these make, I have the Yo Yo makers and they are everywhere on things I make, so very easy to pick up and go and they produce so quickly. The Flower
makers would be wonderful for a new dimension, perhaps I could have a new Garden
now with Blooming Flowers everywhere also……. I also have a large collection of Clover products they are the best.
CLOVER is so CLEVER!!! Who is their genius that comes up with all the clever templates to create to most fantastic embellishments?!* I have all of their yo-yo makers … simple, perfect results, and you can use up so many of your fabric scraps. I must have 300 yo-yo’s in storage containers! I’ve used them on outfits, purses, totes, you name it! And once you’ve created one or two pieces with their clever templates, you can just move right along without concentrating on the next one(s). I actually used the yo-yo makers as my therapy when I stopped smoking. When I needed to do something with my hands, there they were (thus the huge numbers of various size yo-yo’s in my ‘collection’). And you can teach a youngster to use them, and they think it’s just as much fun! GO CLOVER!
I have known Clover ever since I do not know when…I guess when I started sewing….and I have getting lots of Clover notions or gadgets for my quilty pleasures….and making flowers is going to be the next item on my list 🙂
Clover makes sewing “sew” easy…..excellent directions, perfection every time…. I wish I could afford one of everything they make…..have made a good start 🙂
Kim In Sydney
Love this idea. I had seen the flower makers in JoAnn’s but couldn’t figure out how it works. Thanks, Joan for showing us. I’ll have to get a couple even if I don’t win just to use the scraps of fabric in my stash, my mother’s stash and my grandma’s stash.
I like Clover products and am glad that they are still coming up with new ones! Thank you for the clear tutorial.
I have used clover products for years now. Growing up my mother used many accessory tools that were made by Clover. She taught me to sew using Clovers great tools. I love the yoyo makers…have made sew many. Very dependable accessory tools. I love the bias making tools also. I quilt, and make all my own bias..I have the whole set. I could go on and on about the great accessory tools made by Clover that I use and love. When I go into a sewing store I look for for the name Clover!! I would love to have the Kanzashi set as I can see these beautiful flowers on purses, wallhangings, quilts, shoes, hairpieces and sew much more!!
The Margo bag I made some time ago looked a little plain (due to my fabric choices). I made a flower and put right in the middle. I found a button that looked like a sunflower center. Oh, how I wish I would have had a Clover Flower maker! Clover products never fail to inspire creativity. I don’t think I have ever purchased any of their products that I didn’t love.
Clover is so clever with all of their gadgets and notions. They sure make sewing and accuracy easier for us. We can’t lose using Lazy Girl Designs and Clover products.
Clover also makes my favorite ‘rippin'” tool!!! Clover seems to know what we need and what we’ll love! Can’t wait to try out these new flower makers. Everybody wins with Clover. (I don’t have stock in the company, either! LOL)
Clover has some great products with a wide variety. The flower makers are great for being creative (I love your plaid flower), while some of their other products help me get down tothe nitty gritty part of sewing. I could not live without my Clover 28mm rotary cutter!
Love Clover gadgets! Great products reasonably priced. The kanzashi makers would be such fun to use.
When you need to jazz it up
Sweater, bag or coffee cup
The Clover brand is pretty sweet
For tools that help, they can’t be beat!
the only thing better than clover would be getting it for free. these flowers look like a
portable, lazy fun thing to do while I am at an outdoor evening concert at one of our local county parks.
Those Clover people are so creative, how do they think of all those neat things! I use the yo-yo makers a lot and want to give the flower makers a try..
I love the Clover flower makers. I make a lot of flowers for my felted hats and purses and using these would make them so much easier to make and save a lot of time. I would LOVE to win!
Clover here, Clover there, we love Clover everywhere!
I have to get those flower makers!! Just love the looks of them. I have all the YoYo makers & use them all the time, in fact while watching my Soap, I make some up & store in a plastic bin, then I have them when I need some. Good chance to get them @ Joann’s with all the coupons in their latest flyer. Just saw some of these at Quilt Guild Saturday, but the lady made them all by hand, what till I show her the ones I make with the Clover Flower Makers! Thanks, Joan for shoing us your great flowers & for all your inspirations for your patterns!
These new flowers look so pretty! I actually had no idea that Clover made these kinds of products. I’ve used Clover seam rippers, magnetic pincushions, markers and purse hardware for many years.
I don’t know how I missed all the neat gadgets that Clover makes. I followed your link to the Clover website. Now, not only do I want all the all the kanzashi flower makers, I want the flower frill template, yo yo makers, sweetheart rose makers, create a button and premier needle threading cassette too!
I have tons of Clover products, because they help me take my skills and finished product to the next level. I think of my Clover tools as helping me take my sewing skills from the hobby level to the artisitic level. The little embellishments I am able to put on my finished sewing products with my clover tools (like the yoyo maker) really make me feel happy, it is a way to truly individualize my projects. Those little personal touches, like where I will put the flower, and which type and size, will really bring a smile to my face and help me to feel pride on my projects, it’s those little personal individual touches that make sewing such a joy and source of pride in my life.
I love this idea. So many ideas. How about in the middle of a quilt block. Or a Wedding, cover the car, make streamers for the back of the car!! The flower girl could drop flowers as she goes down the aisle, Or favors!! How about covering a purse? Or make garland for a party. Or instread of umbrellas, flowers for drinks. Or a little girls game, Flower toss, attach flower to a ring. Or a pool party and have them just laying around. Flowers for on my Crocs, or sandals! Love this idea. Can’t wait to find them. Clover is a great company!!
I’ve used Clover products for years, too, but had no idea that they made these flower makers. I’m teaching my twin grandaughters to sew and they would love to try making flowers with these new notions.
Those flower makers look neat. They look easy. I hope I win. lol
The Kanzashi Flower Makers would just be another example of the fine notions & necessities Clover has been making for sewists over the years! (I think a bodkin was perhaps my first Clover purchase over 20 years ago…)
How wonderful that flower looks on your bag! I would love to try any one of those six flower styles, but owning ALL would be just incredible. Clover, your notions rock! And Lazy Girl, your bags rock! So pairing the two — WOW!
oh the little smiles these will create when I add them to headbands! 😀
I can’t even remember when I started using Clover products. They have been apart of my crafting so long it’s like they are family. It never ceases to amaze me how many products come out for sewing and it’s always my “old” Clover’s that do the trick. I still have some of the first ones I bought. And still use them!
I love this flower maker! I can’t wait to either win this or go out and buy one or two maybe three to try….cuz as every good crafter knows we can’t have just one!
Love Clover that make things so much easier. That is one accessory that I don’t have and would really love to add to my collection. I also see what great things you have made on your bags from Clover. Way to go Clover and thanks LazyGirl for showing us the new and helpful ways to quilt.
Have loved everything Clover for years, especially their crochet hooks. this is really cool!
Hey, this sounds awesome! Clover already had my vote when I tried their easy smocking on fabric. Really looking forward to this one, flowers look beautiful!!
Love Clover, Love LazyGirl. Do you really need to say more?
I would love, love, love to try the flowermakers……thinking they would look wonderful on denim purses….

I really hope to win these! They would be a great project that I could work on with the kiddo about. Something small and portable. and looks like so much fun!!!!!
4-leaf clovers are lucky so I would really be really lucky to win a six-flower clover set!
These flowers would be a great add on to purses and to the wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses I make.
I have the small Kanzashi Flower maker and I made a couple flowers, but your’s are much prettier, thanks for the info on how to make the centre part look so pretty, I love Clover products they make the neatest and best quality stuff.
How very Clo(e)ver of them! A template for petals! I will be petalling (in my car) all over town to find and buy these.
I also use a lot of Clover products. Most recently, the one I’ve been using the most is the bias tape makers. I have found that I really love how customized bias tape looks in all of my projects. I’ve started buying extra fabric so I can have the option to use matching bias tape. I don’t think I’ll go back to the solid colors again. My grand daughter’s dresses look so great with matching bias around the neck and armholes. Its so easy to make stems for applique flowers, and adding the fusible tape makes it so easy. I think it would be great to combine these stems with the dimensional flowers I can make with these new tools.
I love Clover products. The bias tape makers can also be used with straight of grain fabric, if you need ties. No finger burning, trying to fold those little edges over. they even have me making yo-yos.
My favorite acrostic starts with CLOVER.

Love those flowers! They are gorgeous! I can’t afford them right now, but if I don’t win them I will have to try to get them asap.
There once was a purse all happy and gay, just so happy to be home made. But the purse is just sitting and waiting to go out for the day. The owner has been waiting for the perfect thing to adorn it. Then one day she heard of a give-away. Oh boy could it be her day!?
Clover offers so many great products. From as simple as the straight pins in easy to open box to the thimbles of all sorts (leather, metal, plastic and more) to my favorite… the fork pins. If you are trying to match up seams, these are a must have!! Now to see these new flower makers, the possibilities are endless what can be adorned with these. I can’t wait to try these out!
I love clover! I hadn’t heard of these flower makers til just now when I read my e-mail. I would love to have these! I’m always looking for something to add to my purses to make them different than anybody elses. These flowers would be great!! I love the purse at the beginning with the flower on it, & love the fabric. Pick me, pick me!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the opportunity. Sandie
i have made so many purses and i always would look at the completed purse and say’ it’s missing something” and we know it was missing a a ‘CLOVER FLOWER’ what a fantastic idea!!! Clover has so many patterns that can be used for more than just purses….I swear at the age of 60 there are soo many helpful notions from clover to make make any sewing or quilting projects sooooooo easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been putting together some projects for pre-teen group of girls. They would have a ball with these flowers! It’s creative but simple. Please, please pick us. It would be like creating their own flower garden.
Thanks for doing this.

Move over ROVER , We have to make room for one more CLOVER…………….
I’ve been looking for these and none of the stores in my area carry them. Guess I’ll have to buy online…unless I win, that is!
Thanks for the offer.
Gail
Move over ROVER, We must make room for more CLOVERS…………
Striped fabrics make such fascinating yo-yos with the Clover tools. Can’t wait to see what the flower-makers do for geometric designs in fabric. Am hooked on making black and white yo-yos. Wish I could find the flower tools locally (or on line). Seems like retailers either haven’t heard of them or are sold out. Bummer
Great way to make everything so trendy.
I love Clover products because they work well and make things easy. Of all the products I use they make sewing easy. I had seen these cute flowers but had not had a chance to use them yet. Would love to have a chance to get a hold of these and use them to enhance some of my projects.
Fabulous flowers! Would love to have the Clover makers since I’ve got left feet for hands and my past experience with Clover Toys is they are easy enough so that even a clutz-oid like me can make pretty things!
It adds so much prettiness to whatever it is put on.
What a great project for my overflowing drawer of large scraps and I like that you can take this project in car or to dr ofc, etc. And they are so nice looking. They would spruce up anything you used them on.
Great gadget. Can hardly wait to try one.
OOOOH! My head is spinning with all the ways these flowers could be used…. decorating bags, head bands, journal covers, scrapbooks, clothing, wall hangings, anything! I haven’t found them in my area, and would love to get these. Clover has the best notions and they keep coming out with more. Love ’em!
There once was a girl that was lazy,
She wanted to make a daisy,
She used a Clover….. (Flower Maker)
Her search was over.
Clover makes the best gadgets! I made a Kanzashi flower without the flower maker and get lots of compliments when I wear it on my jacket. I think this Clover flower maker would speed up the process and I could make Kanzashi flowers for everyone!
Oh, I can’t wait to make these flowers! I have a couple of bags already waiting for them. CLOVER has the most CLEVER tools EVER. And such a variety of pins. For every task.! Thank you.
Clover makes great products.and makes some of the neatest tools! I would love to try making one of these flowers to spice up some projects. Thanks for a chance to win!
i gotta tell you…when the yo yo makers first came out…i demo’d them at our local quilt show & sold A TON OF THEM!! i am actually referred to as “the yo yo queen” around her….hmmm, “the Kanzashi queen” has a nice ring….
So many of Clovers products have become essential tools – Yo Yo makers, Bias tools & applique pins to name just a few. How clever are their designers to come up with these flower makers
These flowers look awesome! Unfortunately, with all these other clever posts, I know I won’t win them, I’m too “Lazy” to come up with something clever to say. I’d rather spend my time making bags!
Clover products look like so much fun to play with.
How nice those flowers looks to be! I want to make them for my bags, too. Since I read your blog yesterday, I have looked for them in all the Norwegian quilting webshops that I know, but they haven’t got them yet. I would love to win one!
I have used and loved Clover products for years….from their Chaco liners to the beautiful thread cutting pendant. Since I love to make fabric flowers, these Clover flower makers are just up my alley …I would love to have a set ….since they are all so pretty. They would look really great on many of your Lazy Girls Purse/Bag patterns. I also like the fact that Clover has videos to show how the flowers makers work…a very nice feature! I am sure they are as useful as the YoYo makes!
Great to see a company so innovative. The flower making tools have sparked a new sense of creativity in me. Can’t wait to create!
I just joined because of a purse pattern of yours and I came to your site and found this give away. Just two days ago I purchased two small flower makers from clover, wishing I could purchase all six. They say great minds think alike, does this mean we have great minds? 🙂
I’d love to win the other 4, but even if I don’t I do plan on making lots of flowers.
Clover has the most clever tools! The yo-yo makers are great – I can’t wait to try flowers!
My niece would just love them for her hair and how about a bracelet. She is such a girlie girl.
Clover makes our life easier and more fun!
They make the BEST seam ripper out there! I love mine! And they have made yo-yo’s so easy..
Lazy is my middle name! ha ha! We would all love to win one! but let the laziest girl win! Me! Thanks for the chance to win!
Wow- what a great way to use left over fabric to add nice decor to purses, clothes and even your lamps. looks easy to do also for us who do not sew much.
I love the clover it makes me smile all over!
I love the clover product and how the flower comes together with this. I would love to get this and I am going to look the next time Im at the store. This would help me alot with my crafts and gifts i make. Thank you for the chance to win.
Those are too cool! Watch out Rhett (my mini-doxie) – when I hopefully win you are about to get flowered!!!!!
I love clover, but more for the knitting crochet accoessories. But they are genius, I have there knitting noddie. And both me and the small one love it. It makes great Large I cord for me and the small gets to practice crochet on something she can fit into her hands.
Im going to have to find the flowers now. 🙂 thanks
I love Clover!!! I have all the yo yo makers and definitely want to add the flower makers in my collection. I love the fact that these are such portable crafts. I always have a crafty entertainment back with me and these will make a perfect addition!!

Wonderful that Clover has come up with this (for us folding illiterates)! I would love to have one, and make lots of flowers!
lOvE this tool! I can’t wait to have more. I have great ideas for these flowers, (i.e. handbags of course, sweaters, and scarves, just to name a few. CLOVER makes the easiest tools to work with and lots of imagination for your to explore!
Oh happy day!
Take a few pretty fabrics + one Kanzashi flower maker + my favorite Lazy Girl purse pattern + a bit of sewing time = Priceless!!
WOW! These are so wonderful! I just got into making hand made items and this would be soooo perfect! 😀 These looks so amazing! Especially that they make each petal the same! 😀 YAY!
Clover just made sewing easy for me. I love flowers of any shape, color, and size. This enables me to make them fast and easy to use on my scrapbook pages, headbands, purses, and much more! Finally easy just for me, thanks for a chance to win!
these look awesome 🙂 thanks for the chance to win!!
I love Clover so much, I think THREE leaf clovers are good luck. I love Clover so much, I put yo-yos on EVERYTHING, including the other kind of yo-yo. I love Clover so much, if clover were a decently hygenic young man, it would be a ninja-fight to the death between me and every other crafter, AND I WOULD WIN.
Lovelovelove. I doodle Clover’s name all over my notebooks. I called my mother to tell her about me and Clover. She approves (because she loves when I sew!).
And if I win, I love Clover even more for buying me flowers!!!!!
As a long time sewer, I have been using Clover “helpers” for many years. I still have my original seam ripper from back when I was in junior high school, and that is probably longer than many of you have been alive. It still works like it is brand new out of the package. My mom worked in a dry cleaning plant and they also used Clover brand tools. I used to call them the tools of the trade. I love making flowers out of ribbon and fabric. Have embellished a lot of clothing in my years. I have branched out and now make hair accessories and these kanzashi flowers are the prettiest out of all of the flowers I make. This tool is awesome and would cut my time in half with no guessing. My local Joann’s is the last to get anything new and that makes me sad. Would love to win a complete set. Thanks for considering me.
I love all things from Clover.
i am now stalking clover to see what new fantastic makers they may come out with next! i bought the frills first….wonderful! i have 2 styles of the new kansashi makers in large….amazing! they come out perfect and polished. just finished a large custom order of the pointed petal flowers for a group attending a conference…wanted to make their team stand out. it boggles my mind how clover created these flowers but i am so excited they do!
I am not good at sewing anything but looking for easy ways to spice up dresses, headbands, bags, ect. and this looks like something very easy to use. Thanks so much for making things for us not so talented people.
Clover does make some awesome tools. They make crafting a lot easier I use the round yo yo maker and the heart and flower yo yos. GThanks for having this giveaway.
I really want to learn how to make these flowers.
melodyj(at)gmail(dot)com
I love everything Clover…have all the yo-yo makers and use them all the time. I probably have put yo-yo’s on everything from quilts to garden markers to beach towels. The flowers have always looked too hard to try and directions just got me nowhere. I’m sure Clover has met the challenge to teach everyone how to make them. They’re gorgeous and look fantastic on your purse. Thanks for the opportunity to maybe win the template.
I love my Clover products, so I’d love to try these! My favourite are my yoyo makers.
Those are soooo neat! If I don’t win I think I will have to buy them anyways! Thanks for the opportunity to try and win!
Clover is so clever.. Love it.
I did a program at my library using the Clover yo-yo maker and they were a huge hit! I’d love to do a program with the Clover Kanzashi makers. Our budget has been cut to the bone, so these 6 Clover Kanzashi flower makers would really help us out! Thanks for making this giveaway available!
I have never seen these before. I love LOVE to give them a try. I have been folding each flower by hand and it takes forever. I bet with those they would be 1,000 times faster.
I love the Clover yo-yo makers! I have all kinds of the different styles to use on my bags, etc. I have a book on how to make the Kanzashi flowers. I would LOVE to have the templates to make my creations easily while I watch TV, etc.! It brings a smile to my face to think of all the beautiful flowers I can make for the people I care about! : )
I make lots of bags and this would be a zazzy way to embellish them. I love all the Clover prooducts!!
Oh me oh my! Look at those flowers. Wow. Thanks for ideas! Can’t wait to find them and make some cuties flowers to stick onto alligator clips for the babies!!!
These are so cool! I love making purses and bags for my sister-in-laws, daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughters for Christmas. I am new to the field of “quilting” and have mediocre sewing skills. It seems that I spend more on tools and “how-to” books/magazines, I have hardly anything left to purchase material with. I would love to have these tools to add to my collection of tools so I can dress up those bags and purses even more.
Though I have never won anything, it is always fun trying. Thanks for the opportunity.
Clover …
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My needle can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet stitch, by sun and candle-light.
(with a nod to Elizabeth Barrett Browning)
Love this can imagine creating flowers for everything!!!
I love, love, love these flowers and have my fingers crossed that I will win.
So cool!! I really could use these for adding a touch to the bags I make!!
I have longhad a great admiration of Clover products but now more than ever b/c my hands have gotten weaker and their tools make things do-able for me,again. I have several sizes of the yoyo templates which are easy to use. I’ve got the butterfly maker on my wishlist and now thisflower maker is tempting me. I think the butterfly, yoyo flowers and this lovely flower would make a nice garden scene on a purse or tote.
I can’t honestly say I’d heard of Clover before reading this, but after reading this, I think I’m in love. I make fabric flowers by hand, but am honestly not that great at it. I think this tool would really help make me better (or at least faster) at decorating: purses, jeans, bags, pillows; the possibilities are endless!
These are awesome. I have seen them made before but with a pattern it would be so much easier. I would love to teach my grand daughter how to make them also. She is very excited about crafting.
Wow! I didn’t know they made such a thing. I am new to crafting and these would be so awesome to have. I read you have a tool that makes yo yo’s too. I will be checking those out as well!
These clover flowers are soo cute. Love em. Want em. Would look awesome on my next margo.
I love the way Clover products make crafting easy! The instructions are easy to follow making it quick (and fun!) to learn new things. After a few goes (or even one!) you’re confident enough to share the how-to with a friend (or in my case daughter) and then you’re both off and away, embellishing and crafting to your heart’s content! The only problem then is who gets to use what tool first! 😀
My sewing, tatting, crochet and craft room has many lonely Clover products that are just waiting for the company of this flower garden! In fact, they are already planning the projects they could do . . .
They make the best products don’t they… I wonder if they have a lucky 4 leaf clover template!
These flowers are great. We have a Holiday Bazaar each year at church and I think these flowers would sell really well. Thanks for sharing.
Clever Clover, very clever!!
Clever Clover before you i used to boil over!
Clever Clover before you i thought my sewing was over!
Clever Clover you’re all over our sewing needs!
Clever Clover i bend over to your clever Clover ways!
Oh wow how fantastic do they look!!! They will make someone SUPER happy
Well, Roll me over in the clover! I want to make some of those flowers up there.
Having already learned how to make Kanzashi flowers the “old school” way, I didn’t think this was really necessary; however, after watching the Clover demos on YouTube, I’m totally intrigued and I want one! Pick me! Pick me!
I love that clover comes out with some innovative products for playing with fabric. I know how to fold petals by hand, but would love to try out some templates.
Those flower makers are super cool! This is the first thing I have seen by Clover but, will be sure to look for more especially if everything else is just as cool. Thank you for sharing these with us.
With your and Clover’s help-I could be a lazy crazy daisy maker! Thanks for the chance to win! Love their other products as well.
I love to embellish Lazy Girl Bags, and this one is great! Put my name in! Nancy in DFW
I LOVE clover! I already have like every size of their yo-yo templates!!
These flower makers are really sweet! Love seeing the feminine touch of having flowers in your hair, in your daughter’s hair, on purses and on hats. I am so glad that Clover has invented these flower makers. They look super simple to make and the fact that you can have your project portable is another great PLUS!
Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Nettie
I have been looking for something that will help me make a variety of flowers. Of course, Clover answered my wishes. I just built a sewing room and the flower makers are perfect to add to it!
Clover comes up with such clever things–even I come across as talented when I use them.
Hi from Down Under!!!! These flowers look fantastic. I would love to win one of your flower makers!!!! Haven’t seen them in Australia – well not in Tasmania anyway. Would be great to really start a trend over here. Cheers Deb
Love Clover ’cause I love needle working
Instant gratification = Clover products! What’s not to love about that! Thanks for the opportunity to win such a fabulous prize!
I love all of Clover’s products. I use their bamboo knitting needles almost exclusively. The pom-pom make them so easy. This new flower maker is definitely on my wish list.
I love that clover have such templates! Been trying to make some kanzashi flowers but it would be simpler if I had such templates! =)
I love the clover flower. It is small but chic and unique. they match practically anything and can be made in all the colours in the universe! The pointed petals are gorgeous and the perfect decorations for anything and everything! I have not made mine yet, but have been planning for ages, so I have to get around to it! They make the perfect gifts and are personalised. They are so fun and simple to make! I love them so much for their somewhat diversity and flexibility. You can design them how you like and put them anywhere. I might just make a bunch of them and put them in a pretty bowl! how about that? They are pretty in themselves! I love these so much and thank you for this amazing giveaway! I would love to win this. Please pick me!!!
🙂

Soon I”ll be the owner of my first Clover crochet hook, traded it with someone from Scotland. Read so many good reviews, that I was glad to have the opportunity of trading one, as it”s not easy to get hold of one here.

Clover just makes my heart swell with joy. They are bringing back to life old techniques and making them popular again. Pompoms, yo-yos, and so many other great old treats. So wonderful to see everyone rediscovering the joys of handmade!!!
Woe is me. I can sew but I cannot create. My granddaughter is such a beautiful little girl and loves pretty things. Anything that turns her from an ordinary girl into a princess. Alas, I am but a mere servant to her whims and desires. Perhaps you will find it in the kindness of your heart to rescue me by granting me the magical tools that will forever grant me the “Flower Power” to embelish her world. Thanks.
WOW!!! I have been using Clover products for years and years. I have a 13 year old Granddaughter and she and I have been refashioning thrift store finds for her to get ready to go back to school. She wants to dress stylish but her parents cannot afford what she wants so we copy things that she sees and likes. These flower makers are just awesome and we would LOVE to have them. She loves the fabric flowers. I would so love to win!!! So … please pick me.
But .. regardless of who wins thank you for the opportunity. This is an awesome give-away.
Rhonda (and Cierra) 🙂
I have never heard of clover, but from what you just showed on this post I should have heard about it long ago! 🙂 I have just recently fallen in love with handmade flowers & love the simplicity of using this product! If I am chosen for this giveaway then I can save time in my flower making so maybe I can spend more time being lazy sitting on the couch eating bonbons 😉 … maybe not… I don’t really like bonbons lol
Your flower is delightful. clover has done it again! The possibilities are endless.
My work friends & I are always bringing in our craft projects that we are working on to share new ideas; they would all go nuts over these Kanzashi Flower Makers and be so jealous that I won these!
thanks
Love these flowers………..just saw them made in silky Batiks, at a street fair, as hair ornaments…………………Clover products never disappoint, and I’d love to win the large pointed flower.
Kate
love any of the clover templates – they have made my crafting so much easier. They are small enough that I can put them in my beach bag and take then to the beach with me. I make them while I sit conversing with my friends listening to waves crashing.
I love Clover products. The ones I own are my favorite tools to use. They are always coming up with new and innovative ones.
I could play for hours making these Clover Kanzashi flowers!!
The Clover flowers are fabulous and I have simply no idea where to buy their products in the Netherlands, so I would love to “win” one!
Clover products are great. And I love flower of all kinds! To win these would be awesome! Thanks for the giveaway
This is so sweet, I can’t miss a beat. I must say again and over and over, I must win that clover. I would become a clover bee putting flowers on everything I see. From little girls to little boys, on coats, hats and toys. Giving love and making joy over and over!!!! I must win that clover!!!!
I had no idea Clover’s flower maker was so neat. What a beautiful flower. Would love a set (or even one) of these. Clover does make good products for sure.
I am new to sewing and this is the first I’ve seen of these. I’ve seen the hand cut and sewn videos by people who made them look like a chore and hard to make uniformly shaped, as yours are. These seem like great tools. I have been experimenting with burning fabrics, but this seems so much safer and the flowers turn out beautiful.
Thank you for the write up!!
I have the world’s most adorable two-year-old niece and a pile of fat quarters. The only thing standing between me and dozens of beautiful hair bows to match all her outfits is a set of Kanzashi Flower Makers from Clover Needlecraft. As my beautiful, brilliant niece has already learned to say ” I NEED IT”!
I have to perfectly honest when I admit that i do not own a clover product. I am still figuring out what i would like to make on a long term scale. My sister in law owns a hairbow business and does very well for herself. I make her bows here and there when she has a show coming up and really enjoy the creative part of it, I just wanted to find a few ideas on my own that hasnt been in our area yet! then one day i came across these flowers and thought for her next show i would make them and surprise her! i have so many ideas that i would use for these, including bows, shoes, purses, etc. once you start its hard to stop! the problem was that they never really ended up looking the way i want them to! i will not put nything in mel’s show unless i would buy it myself! bit of a perfectionist, this set would really help out with the hard part while i dream the creative part!
Sorry so long, the prducts are wonderful and not trying to get an extra bid, but i will get these whether i have to buy them on payday! lol!
I love Clover products, It makes is all so neat and easy !! Pick me!!
I LOVE Clover products, the Kanzashi Flower Maker would be fabulous to make flowers for my granddaughters’ dresses and embellishments on the bags I make!!
I actually saw a demo of these on a preview video and fell in love with them! When I first started my blog, I had a Welcome to Fall Ya’ll giveaway bonanza and one of the items I had donated was a GORGEOUS fall colored Kanzashi flower pendant made of silk! I bought the matching barrettes for myself as an early birthday present, and then I found some how-to videos that mentioned a great book from Japan. Yup, I bought the book- great photos and illustrations, but sometimes you need instructions! SO when I saw these templates on the video, I fell in love!
Life has gotten in the way (doesn’t it always, when you have a 4 yr old and a husband? and you got roped into sunday school teaching and vbs director?), and I have yet to make any Kanzashi.
I actually don;t have any Clover products, but from the videos I would say that these are quality made and super for beginners or advanced crafters!
Thanks for the opp to win them – may be if I win, I’ll have NO MORE excuses to use the scrap materials from the quilt tops I made, but haven’t quilted yet!

Clover is great, love them. The Kanzashi Flower Maker is the best. I could literally cover my two girls from head to toe in flowers.
Okay, I didn’t really know if I loved Clover and hadn’t really heard of them, other than through Diane’s blog CraftyPod. BUT, I did get the chance to see how these work in person at CHA in Chicago, and they are LOVELY in person. I even blogged about them yesterday at lindsaysews.com
I am new to quilting gadgets! But wow I am very impressed by these adorable flowers! I would love to get my hands on this so I can decorate several bags I made for christmas gifts.
Pick me! Pick me! lol Nikole
Love the way these flowers go together. I had no idea how to make them and you make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day.
My daughter brought these great new templates to my attention. She does mixed media projects and was so excited about these templates. So, I sent her the whole set as a gift and now Clover has one more big fan. She loves them. Now I have to get them to play with.
I came across your website quite by accident. I am thrilled to find such cute yet sofisticated embellishments to make and use in thousands of ways. There are not many craft projects I can do anymore. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease recently. I’m sure I’ll be able handle this one. I’ve never heard of “Lazy Girl” or Clover products before now. I’m excited just trying to decide what I want to order first. Thank you for all of the great templates and patterns to choose from.
From one “Lazy Girl” to another… Sandy Brovont

What are better than flowers? What are happier than flowers? How can you NOT smile when you see these beautiful flowers?

So cool! My daughters and I would have a ball with these!
I love Clover! They have tons of inexpensive, high-quality tools that really take the tedium out of sewing and crafting. They make so many ingenious little devices that would never occur to me–I find something new every time I stop at the craft store and suddenly can’t imagine life without it!
Clover has so many tools that it is hard to choose, that’s why I keep buying them. My favorites are the yo-yo makers. But perhaps the Kanzashi flowers will be my new favorites! If I don’t win I will have to try them.
OMG! I just bought the mini yo yo maker last week!!! Still haven’t perfected it yet but I’m getting there!!! Fabric is making a huge impact in the card/scrapbook scene right now and I am so excited about this!!!

I love the new tools! However, every time I have seen a Kansashi flower it was flipped around the other way. Yours looks like it’s maybe backwards? I still think it looks neat so maybe you did that on purpose! Keep the great ideas flowing!!
This is an exciting take on flower making.
Looks like a very clever way to make flowers. Love the website.
Wow, now I can really try it, not so intimidating as when it was in the book!
Rae
Wow. That is really cute. My mind is going a hundred miles a minute thinking of all the ways that I can use those. Guess I’d better get a job to help pay for my habit.
